Dr. Satyanarayana Kuchibhatla
Co-founder and Director
A problem solver by nature, Satya brings more than 15 years of research experience and training with broad focus on surfaces and interfaces, understanding/controlling/tuning the characteristics of materials having impact on nuclear energy, Fuel Cells, gas sensors, self-healing, radiation protection materials and nanoparticles for bio-medical applications. He has managed and delivered programs worth $2 MM over past decade funded by US DoE, DTRA, NIH, GCC, NSF, Battelle and industries such as Eaton, Saint-Gobain, GE, BHEL, TITAN, BILT, Fleet Guard Developed and worked with multidisciplinary teams, established world class research facilities in US and India. Satya holds a Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from University of Central Florida. He also holds a masters degree in particulate materials from IIT Bombay, India after a Bachelors degree in metallurgical engineering from Andhra University. He has authored 37 peer-reviewed publications with 1800+ citations and delivered invited talks on international platforms. He also has two patents applied in US and India.

Dr. Ajay Karakoti
Co-founder and Director
Ajay, vivid researcher and highly skilled go getter, is currently aa Associate Professor at Ahmedabad University. He has worked on a variety of industrial and academic projects and has previous startup experience in both US and India. His current research at Ahmedabad University is supported by the Department of Science and Technology India and the Gujarat Institute of Chemical Technology. Ajay is also a mentor at the VentureStudio, Ahmedabad University and brings in his own start up and industry experience for the benefit of startups incubated at VentureStudio. Ajay also brings in national and international product development experience while working for Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Battelle Science and Technology India Pvt Ltd. An entrepreneur by nature Ajay holds a Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from University of Central Florida. He holds two masters degrees in corrosion science and engineering from IIT Bombay, India and in chemistry from Delhi University. He has authored 62 peer-reviewed publications with 5000+ citations and delivered multiple invited talks on international platforms. He also has 3 granted patents from US and various patents applied in US and India.
